Twin City Fire Insurance Company filed suit seeking judicial review of a final decision by the Texas Workers Compensation Commission that Sharon Vega-Garcia, a workers compensation claimant, was entitled to supplemental income benefits. Twin City filed a non-suit in that action. However, the trial court granted Vega-Garcia a new trial, submitted the issue of her attorneys fees to a jury, and entered judgment on a jury verdict awarding attorneys fees in favor of Vega-Garcia.
